The Annual Golf Tournament, hosted by the Dillon County VFW Post 6091 on November 15, 2024, at the City of Dillon Vivian Johnson Memorial Golf Course was a great success. All proceeds from this event are dedicated to supporting our local Veterans, highlighting our community’s commitment to this important cause.
A total of 33 dedicated golfers participated, demonstrating their skills while contributing to our shared mission. The atmosphere was vibrant with competition and camaraderie, as teams competed for top honors. The excitement of the competition was complemented by numerous door prizes, promoting a spirit of engagement among all participants. We congratulate Barfield’s Roofing team for securing the first-place title, while the Private-Public Partnership team deservedly earned second place. The day’s events were truly memorable, filled with meaningful interactions and a collective effort to support Veterans in need.
