VETERANS MEET AHEAD OF MEMORIAL DAY – Dillon County Veterans of the Year recently came together to plan the May 25th 11AM Memorial Day program to be held at Veterans Square. Planning included selecting a program speaker and proposing a Distinguished Deceased Veteran for 2026. Also, the veterans are working with the Dillon County Veterans Affairs Office to prepare a list of all local veterans who have passed since last Memorial Day for a special ceremony during the Memorial Day program.
