Unity In The Community concludes with a gospel singing held at East Dillon Baptist Church on Sunday, August 31, at 6:00 p.m.
East Dillon Baptist Church Pastor James Smith welcomed everyone and offered a prayer.
Each of the four churches who participated in the Unity In The Community offered gospel songs with choirs, quartets, duets, or a solo.
East Dillon Baptist Church choir sang first followed by the Mount Calvary Baptist Church Quartet. Pyerian Baptist Church Quintet performed followed by a solo saxophonist. Pastor James Orr and a guitarist performed a duet. The Second Baptist Church choir concluded the four-church gospel singing.
While the choirs were changing, the congregation sang a hymn each time.
The Unity In The Community was a great success this year.
