On 01/07/2026, agents with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division conducted an undercover operation at 114 Covington Street in Latta. This operation led to information needed and a search warrant of the residence was obtained. Upon conducting this search warrant, law enforcement located approximately 4 lbs. of green leafy substance consistent with marijuana, approximately 50 THC cartridges, two firearms, and approximately two grams of crack. At this time, law enforcement arrested:
* Frison Floyd (53) of Latta was arrested and charged with the following:
-Felon in possession of a firearm.
-possession of cocaine 1st offense.
* Justin Harold Edwards(35) of Latta was arrested and charged with the following:
-Distribution of cocaine x2
-Manuf., poss of other substance in Sch. I, II, III or flunitrazepam or analogue with intent to distribute 1st
* All subjects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
