This afternoon, June 26th, 2025 around 2:47 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a shooting at the Pantry West at South of the Border. Upon arrival, deputies located a female victim with a gunshot wound who was deceased. The identity of the victim will be released at the appropriate time by Dillon County Coroner’s Office.
During the investigation, detectives were able to identify multiple suspect’s in this case.
Detectives have charged and arrested Tina Rebecca Pernell, 39, of Hamer, with Accessory after the fact of Murder. She is being held in the Dillon County Detention Center.
Ja’Heem Antwan Pernell, 19, from Hamer, SC, is wanted for murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Aalyiah Monique Priest, 22, Hamer, SC is wanted for murder.
Both wanted suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach and contact law enforcement.
