Two Marlboro County High School student-athletes signed to continue their education and sports careers at the next level on Thursday, March 12, at the Marlboro High School Media Center.
Family, friends, coaches, and school officials, and many more attended the signing.
Marlboro County High School Athletic Director Cory Johnson thanked everyone for coming. The thanked the two who signed for all of their accomplishments including their GPA at the school. Johnson remarked that these athletes did what needed to be done each day. He stressed that scouts were looking for 4 things: 1. speed and measurability, 2. academic grades with a core GPA, 3. tape to show one’s athletic skills, and 4. be a “good human”. He thanked the athletes for their accomplishments, families, and school. Johnson is super proud of these athletes.
