Two arrests have been made in the homicide of 17-year-old Desmond Dayshawn Drew that occurred on Willie Hodge Road in Marion County on the afternoon of Friday, January 3, 2025.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division has charged Bacorian O’Neil Fling, 19 years old of Mullins, with Murder and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime. Also charged is Tyquan La’Monte Buie, 18 years old of Mullins. Buie is charged with Murder and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
Buie and Fling are currently being held at the Marion County Detention Center.
This is an active and ongoing investigation. Additional charges and arrests are expected in the coming days.
