From Marion County Administration
Marion County Administration is proud to announce the Spring Branch Community Baseball Park Playground Expansion Project. This important initiative will bring much-needed playground equipment to the heart of the Spring Branch community, providing children and families with a safe, accessible, and engaging space to play, connect, and thrive.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Marion County Council Vice Chairman John Q. Atkinson, representative for District 1, whose dedication and advocacy have been instrumental in moving this project forward. Councilman Atkinson’s commitment to improving recreational opportunities for children and enhancing the quality of life for families in our rural communities reflects the very best of public service.
Thanks to this collaborative effort, the new playground will feature swings, monkey bars, a merry-go-round, a seesaw, and inclusive, ADA-compliant equipment that ensures all children can enjoy the benefits of outdoor play.
Together, we are building a brighter, healthier future for Spring Branch and all of Marion County.
