Filing opens for a special election in Latta to replace Councilman Brad Coward on January 24th at 12 noon and will close on February 3rd at 12 noon.
Coward vacated the seat after winning a seat on the Dillon County Council. The term for the Latta seat ends on December 31, 2025. Filing is available during the regular business hours during the filing period. This is a non-partisan election.
The election will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. The polling place is the Latta Arts Center, NW Railroad Avenue, Latta, across from the Latta Town Hall.
