Charleston, S.C. – February 26, 2025—The South Carolina Aviation Association (SCAA) is proud to announce the election of its new Executive Committee and Board Members, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to advancing aviation across the state.
James Stephens, C.M., of Greenville Downtown Airport, has been elected as the new SCAA President, succeeding now Past President Kevin Howell, I.A.P., C.M., of Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.
Ryan Hounshell of Holt Consulting Company has been re-elected as Vice-President. Frank Murray of Columbia Metropolitan Airport has been elected Secretary/Treasurer, bringing valuable expertise to the leadership team.
Alongside the Executive Committee, SCAA welcomes the following members to its Board of Directors: Charles Taylor of Marion County Airport; Chris Birkmeyer, P.E. of WK Dickson, An Ardurra Company; and Steven Gould, Jr., C.M., of Rock Hill-York County Airport. In addition, Stephen Parry of Hilton Head Island Airport and Beaufort Executive Airport, was appointed to the board in November 2024. Their leadership and experience will further support SCAA’s mission to enhance airport development, advocacy, and industry growth in South Carolina.
