Spam calls are being made throughout the area with the caller stating that they are with the Sheriff’s Office, requesting money, and stating that warrants may be issued if it’s not paid. Please do not fall for this fraud. The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office does not do business or request money by telephone. If you receive a call please do not give out any personal information as it will not be the Sheriff’s Office.
