Two burglaries have occurred at the A&B Country Kitchen in Latta in two weeks, and the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to solve these burglaries.
On April 13th, 2024, deputies responded to A&B Country Kitchen, Latta, in reference to a burglary. The business had been broken into through a front glass. During this burglary, the suspect appeared to have cut themselves, which was swabbed, collected and will be submitted for testing. The cash register and credit card machine along with an undisclosed amount of money was taken.
On April 24th, 2024, deputies responded to the to the restaurant again in reference to a burglary. In this incident, the suspect entered through the front window by shattering the glass. Fingerprints were lifted, and a portion of the glass was collected to be submitted for latent prints. Multiple items were stolen including a Christmas tree, an undisclosed amount of money, soft drinks, and food items.
