Sheriff’s Office Charges Four Men With Attempted Murder

Four men have been arrested and charged with attempted murder by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
On July 29th, 2024, Dillon County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the area of E. Dargan St., Dillon, in reference to some men with firearms. Moments later another call came in stating that they were now shooting. While enroute, deputies did get a call stating that the suspects were traveling in a white jeep.
Once deputies made in the area, they located a white jeep matching the description given. At this time deputies made a traffic stop on this vehicle, Upon approaching the vehicle on the passenger side of the car, it was noted that a suspect had an AK-47 rifle between his legs as well as spent shell casings in his lap. At this time, all parties were asked to step out of the vehicle and placed into detainment while the vehicle was being searched for any more weapons or any evidence related to this shooting.
The search of this vehicle to did lead to a total of five firearms being seized, two pistols, one AK-47 rifle, and two AR15s. At this time, four suspects were taken into custody and identified as.

– ZAIRE EMANI MCNEILL (22) of Laurinburg, NC
– TRAEVON KRISTYL MCNAIR (22) of Laurinburg NC
– JAYLIN JAYVAHN REVELS (21) of Laurinburg, NC
All individuals were arrested and charged with attempted murder. At this time, this case remains under investigation by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
