The Dillon Police Department received a report that a semi-truck was stolen from the yard at Dillon Provision Company, 408 North First Avenue, Dillon.
Security footage showed that on January 7th around 10 p.m. a silver SUV pulled into the yard through a locked gate and pulled next to the semi. The lock had been cut off the gate to gain entry to the yard and was still on the ground. A few moments after the SUV pulled up by the semi, the truck pulled off and out of the gate. The SUV was behind it. The SUV left on East Washington Street in the direction of North First Avenue, Dillon. The direction of travel after that is unknown.
The vehicle was entered into NCIC. Anyone with any information about this crime or the location of this vehicle is asked to call the City of Dillon Police Department at 843-774-0051.
