The City of Dillon Police Department responded on Tuesday, July 2, to shots fired at the Red Roof Inn, located at 810 Radford Boulevard in Dillon
At the scene, officers met with the victims who advised that they were in their room asleep when three black males wearing hoodies and masks busted out the window using a landscaping brick.
The suspects entered the room and took the victim’s iPhone, gold chain necklace, pocketbook, and money. The victim stated that one male suspect was heavy set and had a gun. The suspect tried to shoot the second victim, but the victim was able to move. There was a visible bullet hole in the wall behind the TV. The second victim said that he watched the suspects leave in a black or blue car on the other side of the hotel.
Sgt. Ray McPhatter notified Investigator Herring of the situation.
