A Prayer Walk was held this morning at all three of the Latta Schools. It began at Latta Middle School. LMS Principal Carrie Ann Brigman said the Prayer Walk started last year. Pastors, deacons, and lay people were invited to come and pray over the school. She said the schools need prayer, and this walk is done strategically at a a time where there are no students and very few staff in the building. She asked the group who assembled to pray for the building, the staff, the students, and for a successful and safe school year. Superintendent Stephanie Ard opened it up with a prayer in the middle school office. The group then prayed through the middle school, the high school, and the elementary school.
