The Latta varsity boys defeated the Hannah-Pamplico Raiders 67-43 on Friday, February 6, in Latta.
Latta had a 15-3 lead after the first quarter of play. By halftime, Latta was up 2-13. After 3 quarters of play, Latta held a 52-26 lead.
Latta’s J. Galloway led the Vikings with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Shayon McGruder and Stevaris Bethea each had 9 points. Xy’mauri Bethea added 8 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists to the scoreboard while Adrian McDonald, Landon Waugh, and Isiah McRae each had 6 points. Lsiah McRae had 6 rebounds, and Landon Waugh had 5 rebounds. Dexmond Bethea contributed 4 points and 5 rebounds while Evan Bryant added 3 points. Anthony Williams and JP Bley each had 2 points.
Latta has won 14 games and lost 4 games overall and is 7-2 in Region 6 A in second place.

Latta will travel to Hemingway today (Monday, February 9) for a 7:45 p.m. game.
