Northeastern Technical College (NETC) is proud to announce Phil Homan as the keynote speaker for its upcoming summer commencement ceremony. The event will take place on Thursday, August 1, at 8:30 a.m. at the Dillon 4 School District Auditorium, located at 1738 Highway 301 North in Dillon.
Phil Homan, a recent recipient of the state of South Carolina’s highest civilian honor, the Order of the Palmetto, will inspire graduates with his insights and experiences. Homan’s impressive career, retired director of human resources for Schaeffler Group in Cheraw, and decorated military veteran make him an ideal speaker for this special occasion.
The summer commencement ceremony celebrates the hard work and achievements of NETC’s graduates, who have completed programs in various fields. This milestone marks the beginning of their professional journeys, equipped with the skills and knowledge acquired during their time at NETC.
Friends, family, and members of the community are invited to join in this celebration of academic success. The event will also feature remarks from NETC faculty and staff, along with the presentation of diplomas to the graduates.
