Pee Dee Community Action Headstart And Early Headstart Hold Parent Orientation

The Pee Dee Community Action Partnership Head Start and Early Head Start held their parent orientation at the City of Dillon Wellness Center. Chevella German, Family Advocate Manager for Whittaker and Hamer Canaan said they are all looking forward to a great school year. Important information was shared with the parents to help students, parents, staff, and teacher have a great experience this coming year. The mission, vision, and goals were shared and a typical school day was reviewed. Transportation and the need for bus drivers was discussed. Students will be using Creative Curriculum, and parents will be using the Ready Rosie Curriculum. Children ages 0-2 1/2 start school at 8 a.m. on August 6th and the 3-4 year olds start at 8 a.m. on August 7th.
