Pastor James Orr and The Gideons International Hold Special Prayer for Sheriff’s Office

Pastor James Orr and the Gideons International had special prayer for the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, May 22, at the Dillon Judicial Center on the Old Latta Highway, Dillon.
Pastor James Orr, Pyerian Baptist Church, spoke to the Sheriff’s Office. He spoke from 1 Peter 4:10: Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. He also spoke from 1 Corinthians 4:2: Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. Additionally, he spoke from Luke 16:10 Whoeve can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
Kay McGirt, Gideons Internationals, offered prayer for the Sheriff’s Office.
Four of the Gideons International, Jimmy Atkins, Kay McGirt, Coble Adams, and Bill King, who were present presented New Testament Bibles to all who were present plus some received the entire Bible.
