The old Stewart Heights Elementary School will be the new home of Head Start beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.
Hamer-Canaan Head Start Center and Whittaker Head Start Center will both be moving to the facility.
Jackie Hayes, Dillon District Four Chief of Operations, said when these centers move both the Whittaker Building in Little Rock and the Hamer-Canaan Building in Hamer will both be out on the market.
