On Friday, February 7th, members of the Dillon County Crisis Care team met the North Myrtle Beach Public Safety Chaplain Jay Ortiz for training.
Chaplain Ortiz spoke on the subject of “Finding Balance.” He spoke of the importance of spending quality time with those being served to build trust.
He also shared information on the Public Safety Chaplains Course and Post Critical Incident Service.
The event was sponsored by the Dillon County Christian Ministers Alliance and the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office. Lunch was provided by Susie and John Lee. A love gift was given to the North Myrtle Beach Firefighters Fund.
