The Mullins Auctioneers won 66-42 over the visiting East Clarendon Wolverines of Turbeville, S.C., in varsity basketball conference action played in Mullins on Thursday, January 9.
Mullins’ Dakara Worley (sophomore) had 18 points in the game. He had 4 offensive rebounds, 4 defensive rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals. Deyon Ford had 14 points, 2 offensive rebounds, 2 defensive rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Jeremie Page scored 9 points and 1 defensive rebound. Amir Lee added 6 points to the scoreboard, 3 offensive rebounds, 7 defensive rebounds, 4 steals, and 1 blocked shot. Ernest Ford had 5 points, 1 offensive rebound, 3 defensive rebounds, 4 steals, and 1 blocked shot. James Ford scored 4 points and 2 offensive rebounds. A. Littlejohn had 4 points, 2 offensive rebounds, 1 defensive rebound, 1 assist, and 1 block. Lonnie Alston also had 4 points, 1 offensive rebound, 3 defensive rebounds, and 1 assist.
Mullins is 13-2 overall and 4-1 in AA Region 7.
East Clarendon is 5-9 overall and 0-3 in AA Region 7.
