Mullins Auctioneers Win Over ACA 66-64 In Overtime

The Mullins Auctioneers won 66-64 over the visiting Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada on Friday, December 13, in a varsity conference basketball game played in Mullins.
At the end of the first quarter, Mullins was up 15-6. By halftime, Mullins’ lead was cut to only 1 point, 22-21.
After 3 quarters of play, Mullins trailed 37-35. Mullins tied the game in the fourth quarter to force the overtime period won by Mullins 12 points to 10 points.
Mullins Dakarai Worley led the Auctioneers with 20 points. He connected for five 2-point baskets, three 3-point baskets, and a free throw. Dayon Ford added 19 points with seven 2-point baskets and 5 free throws. Ernest Ford had two 2-point baskets, a 3-point basket, and 2 free throws to place 9 points onto the scoreboard. Jeremie Page had two 3-point baskets and a free throw for 7 points. A. Crawford connected for three 2-point baskets for 6 points. Amir Lee sank a 3-point shot. Braden Hughes hit a 2-point basket.
Mullins is 8-1 overall, and Atlantic Collegiate Academy is 3-1 overall.
Mullins will travel to Marion on Tuesday, December 17, for a 7:30 p.m. game.
Atlantic Collegiate Academy will host OCA on Monday, December 16, for a 7:30 p.m. game.
