MOVING IN: New Dillon Elementary School Passes Inspection And Moving In Begins

The Dillon Elementary School has passed inspection, and the final touches are underway prior to the opening of the school on Monday, August 5, with Principal Jan Powers-Penuel at the helm. There will be 56 teachers and 2 librarians in the school.
The administration staff are at work preparing their offices and also the library.
Principal Jan Powers-Penuel is beginning the task of arranging her office.
Assistant Principal Jenise Bracey is shown in her office finalizing the arrangements of items in her office as is Assistant Principal Frankie Camp is doing the same in her office.
The librarians are also hard at work preparing the library.
The new elementary school is a 117,000 sq. ft. facility and is located on 39.3 acres on Bunker Hill Road. It will serve elementary school students in PreK-3rd grade.
