Mount Calvary Baptist Church held the annual Mothers Day Service on Sunday, May 12, at the 10:30 a.m.
The Preparation For Worship was by Miss Linda McKenzie. Pastor Harold Cooke opened with prayer and announcements.
After a time of worship through giving, there was a recognition of all Mothers who were present.
The men of the church, led by Pastor Harold Cooke, sang 2 songs, “His Name Is Wonderful” and “Let’s Talk About Jesus, the King of Kings Is He”, to honor the Mothers.
The congregation sang “Build My Life” and “Good, Good Father”.
Miss Savannah Miller sang a solo that blessed the congregation.
Pastor Harold Cooke’s sermon was from Genesis 3:20.
The Invitational Hymn was “Have You Been to Calvary”.
After the Benediction and Postlude, all of the Mothers who were present received a gift from the church.
