Elizabeth Rhoda Holden, 41 years old, of Hope Mills, North Carolina, and her son, Robert Oren Helms, III, 21 years old of Marion, have been arrested by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.
Holden is charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor 3rd degree. It is alleged that Holden “did engage in and commit sexual battery upon the victim who was seven years of age at the time.” Helms is charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor First Degree. It is alleged that Helms “did engage in and commit sexual battery upon the victim who was six years of age at the time.”
Elizabeth Holden has been released on a $20,000 bond. Robert Helms’ bond was denied, and he remains at the Marion County Detention Center.
Holden and Helms are the co-defendants to Milton David Walters, III who was arrested on April 30th.
