EDUCATION
I have a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Francis Marion University. I am a South Carolina Teaching Fellow and have completed many hours of community service, professional development, and seminars. I also presented at the South Carolina Art Education Association conference in Greenville last year about play-based instruction in art education. I have experience working with elementary, middle school, and high-school classes from my college placements. I student-taught at Dillon Middle School recently with Mrs. Krista Driggers this past semester and had a blast! I am also a Teaching Children of Poverty Scholar.
FAMILY
I am the daughter of Steven Horvath Jr. and Brandy Williamson! I have a little brother who is my best friend, his name is Gavin Horvath.
PETS
I have a wonderful pet dog, Hazel! She is a weimaraner-lab mix and she’s 5 years old.
HOBBIES
My hobbies are reading, drawing on my iPad, listening to music, and bettering myself physically and mentally in the gym!
FUN FACT
A fun fact about me is I love to go ATV riding in the mud with my best friends!
WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SCHOOL YEAR?
This school year I am looking forward to meeting my students and having the greatest time teaching them about art! I can’t wait to share my love of art with them and show them that art can be so much fun!
