Marlboro County High School was proud to mark a historic occasion for members of the Junior Class on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at its Annual Ring Ceremony, as eighteen members of the Class of 2027 received their class rings in a touching ceremony attended by their families, friends, and faculty members.
Junior class officers De’Jara Terry, Graycee Duncan, and Jordyn Zimmerman presided over this ceremony, warmly greeting their audience, and leading their peers through this historic coming-of-age tradition. Every student was awarded their class ring by Dr.
Kandace Cannon, who is the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction, marking this historic tradition, signifying their level of academic success and unity within their class of peers as juniors.
In a gesture of appreciation, students gave their parents a companion ring as a token of appreciation for their never-ending love, support, and care for all these years.
This significant event was arranged by Mrs. Natasha Pearce, the Administrative Assistant of Career and Technical Education (CTE), and was made elegant and memorable through her organizing efforts.
Marlboro County School District congratulates the class of 2027 on this exciting milestone within their high school career and is proud of them for their dedication and drive for excellence and Bulldog pride.
