The Marion County Democratic Party Executive Committee upheld the election in the coroner’s race.
A hearing was held on Thursday.
Jerry Richardson won the race over Kendra Fling, 3,103 to 2,799.
Fling, a native of Dillon, is now appealing to the State Democratic Party.
