Many Brave Cold Weather To Attend Annual Evergreen Luminary Service

The annual Evergreen Cemetery Luminary Service was held on Saturday, December 6, at 6:00 p.m., inside a tent at the cemetery.
Many braved the cold weather to enjoy the message and the singing.
Rev. Bryant Fersner welcomed everyone to the service.
Rev. Fersner’s Christmas Meditation was from Romans, Chapter 8.
The Master’s 3 sang many songs to the delight of those present.
The Christmas Melody was by Gene Hill, Debbie Hill, Bobbie Lee, and Jimmy Tanner.
Mr. Benny Cooper of Cooper Funeral Home and the Evergreen Cemetery thanked everyone for coming.
The lighting of the candles was to honor the memory of loved ones who have departed this life. “You will light my candle, O Lord, and will turn darkness to light.” Psalm 18:28.
Jesus is the “Light of the World.” Jesus said, “I am the Light of the World: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
Evergreen Cemetery is located at 2450 Hwy. 301 North, Dillon, S.C.
