Man 2 Man and the Dillon County Detention Center are partnering in a program that will help make the community stronger.
Man 2 Man will offer services FREE of charge to people who may need help finding employment, resources with parenting skills, etc. The group will come to the detention center and talk to inmates prior to their release and provide resources to help them.
“We are beyond excited for a new venture at the detention center,” said Sheriff Jamie Hamilton. “Hopefully this will help with repeat offenders. Our goal is to help make our community stronger together!”
Man 2 Man in Dillon is proud to extend their services to the Dillon County Detention Center. Man2Man already services Marion County, Chesterfield County, Darlington County, Florence County, and Evans Correctional Facility in Bennettsville. These programs educate and inform men and women on physical and mental health, building healthy relationships, developing parenting skills, and learning about economic mobility (being financially stable). Once the participant is out of the detention center or facility, he/she will continue in the program to learn how to build a resume, go back to school, get a degree, start their own business, find adequate housing, and become a productive citizen. Man2Man vows to change the community one man at a time.
