Jhamari Bryson Grant, 20 years old from Marion, SC, recently turned himself in to the Marion Police Department.
Grant was being sought on charges of Murder, Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime, Pointing and Presenting a Firearm at a Person and Discharging a Firearm in the City Limits.
On May 9, 2024, Marion Police Department responded to the 400 Block of McMillan St, Marion, SC, in reference to gunshots being fired. Upon arrival, it was determined that two people had been shot, one being fatal.
The incident is still under investigation.
