On Sunday night, around 7 p.m., Mullins Police Department responded to a burglary call on South Park Street. The suspect decided to lead officers on a wild ride—first in a car, then on foot into the woods.
They quickly set up a perimeter and called in the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Their K9 showed up.
The suspect, Brandon Lewis Elliott, was found hiding and arrested. He’s facing multiple charges including:
-Burglary
-Failure to Stop for Blue Lights
-Resisting Arrest
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Possession of Methamphetamine
As always, everyone is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
Big thanks to MCSO and their four-legged officer for the assistance.
