On Wednesday, August 27th, 2025 Law Enforcement with Dillon County Sheriff’s Animal Protective Services were handing a situation in the Riverdale area of Dillon County, while doing so Law Enforcement observed 2 dogs that did appear to be severely emaciated.
Upon seeing this law enforcement did immediately get a search warrant and go back to this property, it is at this time that these animals were seized and taken back to the animal shelter where they will be taken care if and nursed back to health.
Law Enforcement did charge Christopher Lowder of Riverdale with 2 counts of ill treatment of an animal.
