Lt. Terry McArthur Celebrates 25 Years Of Service At Detention Center

Lt. Terry McArthur recently celebrated his 25th year of service at the Dillon County Detention Center on May 15.
Lt. McArthur has been loyal to Dillon County, serving all of his career in Dillon County. He has served under the leadership of four Sheriffs; Sheriff Harold Grice, Sheriff Major Hulon, Sheriff Douglas Pernell, and Sheriff Jamie Hamilton.
In a social media post shared by Lt. McArthur, he said, “As I reflect back over the years I’m reminded of the many opportunities, obstacles, and valuable lessons I’ve learned. I am proud to say that I earned my stripes as Lieutenant, and I look forward to continued success.”
Sheriff Hamilton expressed his appreciation to Lt. McArthur and thanks him for his lifelong service and dedication to Dillon County.
