Rondell Eason is a man on a mission to help the homeless population in Dillon County.
As temperatures continue to drop, Eason was out distributing blessing bags to the homeless today in Dillon.
His aunt, Vickie Bethea, from Chicago, Illinois, gave him the starting point. She sent him several blessing bags for the homeless in Dillon all the way from Illinois. The bags contain toothpaste, toothbrush, socks, snap cap gloves, hand sanitizer, and cookies.
Eason realizes it’s a small start to address a huge problem in the city. Eason is now seeking any donations of covers, blankets, and other items to help these homeless people in their time of need. He has a bigger goal of securing a grant to help open a shelter for this hidden population.
If you would like to make a donation to Eason’s efforts to help the homeless, you can contact him on Facebook (Rondell Dell X Eason) or call him at 843-506-9531.
NOTE: Faces of the homeless he served have been blocked out to protect their privacy.
