set 1, Latta 25 and Carvers Bay 12; set 2, Lattat 24 and Carvers Bay 26; set 3, Latta 25 and Carvers Bay 21; and set 4, Latta 25 and Carvers Bay 19.
Latta’s Samantha Townsend Had 2 aces and 30 digs. Chayse Walters had 4 aces and 38 assists. Madison Stevens had 3 aces, 24 kills, and 20 digs. Alyiah Tisdale had 5 kills and 5 blocks. Ahyliah Smiling had 8 kills. Maddy Miller had 10 digs.
Latta has 13 wins and 3 losses for the regular season record and has 12 region wins and no losses.
The Latta Lady Vikings are the undefeated Region 6 1-A champions.
Latta will play in Round 1 of the 1-A Lower state playoffs on Wednesday, October 22, at Latta. The opponent and time to be determined.
