The Latta Lady Vikings won 3-0 over the Johnsonville Lady Flashes on Wednesday, October 29, in Round 3 of SCHSL 1-A Lower State Playoffs in Latta.
The scores were: set 1, Latta 25 and Johnsonville 15; set 2, Latta 25 and Johnsonville 17. and set 3, Lattat 25 and Johnsonville 20.
Latta’s Madison Stevens had 3 aces, 8 kills, and 11 digs. Samantha Townsend had 2 aces and 13 digs. Chayse Walters had 2 aces, 26 assists, and 12 digs. Alihah Tisdale had 7 kills and 4 blocks. Lillie Jordan had 7 kills. Alyliah Smiling had 8 kills. Selena Velazquez had 10 digs.
Latta has 16 wins and 3 losses for the season.
The Latta Lady Vikings will host the Branchville Lady Yellow Jackets on Tuesday, November 4, at 6:00 p.m. for the Lower State Championship for SCHSL 1-A Playoffs.
