The Latta Vikings varsity football team will travel to Hollywood, S.C., to face Baptist Hill for the first round of the Class A playoffs.
Latta is coming off a 9-2 season last year and a 5-5 regular season this year.
Latta began this season with a 49-6 win over East Columbus from North Carolina. After that, Latta dropped 3 games in a row.
Latta made a change to the wishbone and things began to click as Latta began to gel becoming more physical while controlling the games.
Latta has averaged over 241 yards rushing per game this season.
Baptist Hill has a 6-3 overall record and a 4-2 record in Region play for this season.
