The Latta Schools Educational Foundation sponsored a Christmas tree decorating contest in the Ellis Performing Arts Center. The first five Latta High School organizations who responded were invited to decorate one of five Christmas trees.
The public, student body, faculty, and staff voted on the best decorated tree by putting money into the organization’s voting box.
The participants were:
-Latta High School Student Council- Dillon County Helping Hands
-Latta High School Department of Exceptional Children-Dillon County Animal Shelter
-Latta High School Shall Go—Dillon County Pregnancy Center
-Latta High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes—Latta High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes Spring Retreat
-Latta High School Future Farmers of America—Habitat for Humanities
The winner was Latta High School Department of Exceptional Children-Dillon County Animal Shelter.
