Event Schedule
** 4:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Vendor setup and stage sound check
**6:00 p.m. – Opening Prayer
· Opening Prayer to bless the event and community
· Welcome message from Latta Police Chief Allan Rogers
· Safety reminders & overview of evening activities
** 6:10 p.m. – DJ Music & Trunk-or-Treat Begin
· DJ starts playing family friendly Halloween favorites
· Police officers will be handing out glow sticks for the safety of children and adults in the community
· Kids and families encouraged to visit trunks and dance near the stage
· Everyone is encouraged to join in dancing throughout the evening – random prizes will be given to the best dancers!
** 7:00 p.m. – Costume Contest Lineup & Judging
· Participants line up near the stage to be judged
· Categories: Kids, Teens, Adults, Groups, and Pets
· Prizes for most creative, funniest, and scariest costumes
** 7:15 p.m. – Costume Contest Winners Announced
· Winners announced from the stage
· Group photo opportunity with winners
** 8:00 p.m. – Best Trunk-or-Treat Announced
· Announcement and prize presentation for Best Trunk-or-Treat display
** 8:15 p.m. – Final Dance & Closing Remarks
· “Thriller” group dance finale
· Thank you message & community acknowledgements
** 8:30 p.m. – Event Ends
· Clean up begins
· Vendors close
Food & Refreshments: Food trucks will be located on Mauldin Street, offering a variety of delicious options for all ages.
