Mrs. Marsh’s 7th grade Science classes at Latta Middle School have been studying atoms, elements, molecules, and compounds. They created 3D models of various molecules called ball and stick models. They used gumdrops to represent the atoms and toothpicks to represent the chemical bonds. Models were made for hydrogen peroxide, carbon dioxide, methane, ammonia, and carbon monoxide.
