The Latta Lady Vikings won 53-23 over the Hemingway Lady Tigers in varsity basketball action played in Hemingway on Monday, February 9.
Latta’s Kaliya Herman led the team with 21 points. Aliyah Tisdale connected for 13 points. Ny’asia Jennings added 6 points. Ke’nyah Page and Summer Page each had 5 points. Aubrey Williams had 3 points.
Latta is 16-3 overall and 10-0 in Region play and in first place.
Latta’ Head Coach is Bobby Richardson. He is assisted by Tony McRae and Riana Green. Sandra Gomillion is the statistician.
Latta will host Carver’s Bay on Wednesday, February 11, at 6:30 p.m. Latta will travel to Lake View on Thursday, February 12, for a 6:15 p.m. game.
Hemingway will host Green Sea Floyds on Tuesday, February 10, at 6:15 p.m.
