The Latta Lady Vikings picked up a 3-0 win over the visiting Johnsonville Lady Flashes in varsity volleyball Region 6A matchup played in Latta on Thursday, September 26.
The scores were: set 1, Latta 25 and Johnsonville 10; set 2, Latta 25 and Johnsonville 18; and set 3, Latta 25 and Johnsonville 21.
Latta’s Chayse Walters had 2 aces, 7 kills, and 6 digs. Madison Stevens had 2 aces, 9 kills, a block, and 7 digs. Aubrey Allen had 12 kills and 1 block. Madison Berry had 5 kills and 5 blocks. Hendley Ann McIntyre had 29 assists and 16 digs. Sophie Haselden had a block. Samantha Townsend had 18 digs.
The Latta Lady Vikings are 7-1 in region play.
The Latta Lady Viking swill host the Hemingway Lady Tigers for a region 6A matchup on Thursday, October 3. The junior varsity action begins at 5:00 p.m., and the varsity action begins at 6:30 p.m.
