The Latta JV and Varsity volleyball teams win over Carvers Bay in Region 6A matchup in Latta on Thursday, September 19.
The Latta JV won 2-1 with set scores of 28-26, 24-26, and 15-10.
The Latta Varsity won 3-0 with set scores 25-23, 25-17, and 25-21.
In varsity action, Latta’s Chayse Walters had 5 aces and 1 block. Madison Berry had 3 aces and 5 kills. Aubrey Allen had 19 kills. Madison Stevens had 5 kills, and 15 digs. Hendley Ann McIntyre had 23 assists and 10 digs. Samantha Townsend had 16 digs.
The Latta Lady Vikings varsity team is 5-1 in Region play.
The Latta Vikings varsity head coach is Genesis Rogers.
The Latta Vikings will travel to Hannah-Pamplico High School for another region matchup on Tuesday, September 24th. The Junior Varsity will begin play 5:00s p.m. and the Varsity will begin at 6:30 p.m.
