The Latta Vikings defeated the Cheraw Braves 32-27 in junior varsity basketball action played in Latta on Tuesday, December 10.
At halftime, the teams were tied at 14 with each team having committed 4 fouls in the second quarter of play.
The Latta Vikings found themselves trailing 19-18 after 3 quarters of play. Latta committed 2 fouls, and Cheraw committed 1 foul in the third quarter.
Latta began to make baskets and managed to get a 7-point lead with less than a minute in the game.
On December 13, Latta will travel to Chesterfield for a 5:00 p.m. matchup .
