Lake View Shuts Out Hannah-Pamplico 6-0

The Lake View Wild Gators shut out the Hannah-Pamplico Raiders 6-0 in varsity football action played in Pamplico on Friday, October 3.
Lake View took the opening kickoff and began moving the football but were hit with 2 penalties in a row. The Wild Gators were forced to punt, and Hannah-Pamplico took over on their won 35-yard line.
Hannah-Pamplico turned the football over on downs on Lake View’s 31-yard line.
At the end of the first quarter, the game was scoreless in this defensive battle.
The 2 teams continued to battle as they turned the football over to each other throughout the second quarter. At halftime, the score remained Lake View 0 and Hannah-Pamplico 0.
Lake View kicked off to Hannah-Pamplico to begin the third quarter. The Raiders began on their own 19-yard line. Lake View took possession of the football and was soon inside Hannah-Pamplico’s 20.
At the end of the quarter, the game was still tied at 0.
Lake View’s #16, Chayse Price rushed for a 2-yard score. The 2-point conversion failed. Lake View led 6-0.
The 2 teams continued to change possession of the football. However, neither team could score again.
The Raiders will host Green Sea Floyds in a Region 6 game on Friday, October 10, at 7:30 p.m.
