Lake View Hands Latta A 10-7 Loss

Seth Minshew is safe at home

The Lake View Wild Gators handed the Latta Vikings a 10-7 loss in varsity baseball played on Tuesday, March 25, in Lake View.
The in-county rivals fought a good fight and Lake View came out on top this time after taking an early lead. Lake View scored a run in the bottom of the first inning and scored 8 in the bottom of the second inning and added a run in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Latta managed to score 4 runs in the top of the fifth inning and added 3 runs in the top of the sixth inning.
Chase Price picked up the win for the Wild Gators, and Kason Herlong got the save.
Latta’s Fisher Richardson connected for a home run and 3 rbi. Seth Minshew had a single, a double, scored 2 runs, and a rbi. BW Berry managed 2 hits and a rbi.
Lake View’s Kason Herlong, Chase Price, and Bryce King led the offensive production.
Latta will travel to Marion on Thursday, March 27, for a 6:30 p.m. game.
Lake View will travel to Johnsonville on Friday, March 28, for a 6:00 p.m. game.
