The Lake View Wild Gators defeated the Green Sea Floyds Trojans 52-0 in varsity football action played in Lake View on Thursday, October 30.
The Trojans’ onside kickoff attempt gave the Wild Gators the football on Lake View’s 41-yard line. After a great run by Lake View’s #11, Jaylen Clarke scored with on 26 seconds removed from the first quarter. The PAT was no good. Lake View led 6-0.
Green Sea Floyds faced a fourth down and 6 to go and were forced to punt.
Lake View’s #5 scored after the pass reception to go u 12-0. The 2-point conversion attempt failed.
Lake View took over on downs on the next series of plays by the Trojans but also relinquished the football back to Green Sea Floyds on downs.
At the conclusion of the first quarter, the Wild Gators were up 12-0.
With 10 minutes remaining in the second quarter, Jalen Clarke carried for a 25-yard touchdown. The 2-point conversion attempt failed. Lake View led 18-0.
Green Sea Floyds fumbled on the 50-yard line, and Lake View recovered. With 4:36 remaining in the second quarter, Chase Price scored on second and goal to go up 24-0. An attempted pass failed on the 2-point conversion attempt.
With 3:16 remaining in the half, Lake View’s #3 carried for a 38-yard touchdown after the reception. Lake View successfully converted the 2-point conversion to go up 32-0.
Lake View continued to score and closed out the game with a 56-0 score.
